Features

COB strip light is a new type of strip, COB stands for Chip on Board, it’s a technology which package led chips directly on the flexible printed circuit board. It reduces the use of frame and gold thread compared to traditional flexible strip, come with No-hot-spot, wider beam angle, better heat dissipation, etc. And this 12V COB LED strip has an super narrow 5mm board width design, which makes it able to be used in some places with limited space.

Like traditional flexible strip, COB strip light also differs from LED chips per meter, some is 336chips per meter(5meters/reel), some is 528chips, 630chips, 840chips, etc. And this 12V COB LED strip is 504chips per meter. The more chips, the more uniform, the brighter.

COB Strip Light LED Density Description

We describle strip color as “warm white”, “cool white”. Actually, we are talking about its color temperature(CCT), ranking from 2700K-6500K, it’s measure of how warm or cool the light’s color appears. Troditional incandescent bulb is warm white(2700K) with soft glow, and daylight is cool white(6500K) with bright light.

Flexibility is one of the most important feature of this 12V COB LED strip, LEDs are mounted on flexible circuit board, it’s bendable to be fixed on different shapes of fixture. On the other aspect, a particular number of LEDs is fixed in series, each series of the strip can work independently, which means it can be cut to specific length as desired.
