What is Colorful LED Strip Lights?
A colorful LED strip is a kind of LED strip that can change various light-emitting colors, usually divided into RGB LED strips and RGBIC LED strips. RGB LED strips are suitable for general home, commercial, and entertainment venue decoration and lighting. On the other hand, RGBIC LED strips are more suitable for occasions that require high-quality lighting experiences, such as upscale hotels, stages, large exhibitions, theaters, and more.
RGB LED Strips
The RGB LED strip is based on red, green, and blue three-color chip packages of RGB LED, resistors, and flexible circuit boards through the SMT combination. It can achieve a variety of static single-color as well as dynamic color jumps and gradients, as well as brightness adjustment and speed adjustment.
RGBIC LED Strips
RGBIC LED strip is based on RGB LED strip, adding an IC chip to each group of RGB LEDs, giving each pixel a different light-emitting state through the control system's program, so as to achieve the effect of flowing, running, scanning, and so on, with richer colors. 256 shades of gray for each of the three colors of RGB, a total of more than 16 million colors, and another illumination light bar can also realize text, picture, animation, and video display through the programming of the control system.
How a Colorful LED Strip Works?
The colorful LED strips can be controlled by various control methods, depending on the controller and control system you use. Usually, the following controllers are used: remote control, APP control, RGB controller, etc. No matter which kind of controller you use, you need to connect one end of the controller to the DC12V/24V power supply and the other end to the corresponding port of the RGB LED strip.

Note: When you use the controller, you should pay attention to the voltage of the LED strip and the voltage of the controller must be matched to avoid damage and other safety issues.

Production Quality Control Process

SMT Process
Use high speed automated SMT machine to paste LED chips, IC chips, resistors to make sure all components are in the right place.
Automated Dispensing
Use multi-nozzle automated dispensing equipment to evenly coat the formulated phosphor on the COB tape light.
100% QC Inspection
After reflow soldering and high-temperature ovens, the COB strip needs to be tested again at 100% to ensure no defective LEDs.
Bending Test
The purpose of the bend test is to test whether the strip light can withstand a certain amount of bending without affecting its performance or life.
Twist Test
The LED strip twist test is mainly used to test the bending resistance and life span of LED strip lights by simulating the deformation of light strips in long-term use.
Aging Test
Aging for 8 hours, ensure each LED runs in good condition. And for the COB LED strip, there will be a slap test to check the stability.
Pasted With 3M Tape
All LED strips pasted with 3M adhesive tape and rolled reels to ensure easy transportation and installation.
Final Product Test
Our quality inspectors conduct a final inspection of each roll of LED strip to ensure the consistency of the light color and the good appearance of the strip.
Packaging
Finally, the labels are pasted on the reels and anti-static aluminum foil bags, and the COB strip lights are ready to be boxed and shipped.
